Assalamualaikum everybody!

Sabtu hari tu balik kampung lagi..short trip! lps keje ptg sikit tu kawan nama Zahir n isteri n anak kecik nye dtg Shah Alam amik kite heading to Tapah. Lama jugak planning sbb Zahir ni bz. Alhamdulillah kami dpt jugak blk sama2 lps beberapa perancangan sblm2 ni x jd. Alasan kukuh nk blk sbb Zahir terbakar "line" kite post pic mancing dgn adik2 kt lombong mcm dlm offer La Private room stay tu. (Tempahan masih di buka). hehe  

Allah sebaik baik Perancang. Perjalanan was just nice as the traffic heading north was very clear though there are many cars on the road. as usual, 2 hrs n half we reach Tapah Town. we went to TF Market to buy Yusoff, Zahir' son pampers. Saturday nite there were nite market as in Bahasa called Pasar Malam where locals go n find cheap food/raw fish,meats,vegies etc memang perfect timing la sampai2 tu.. g pasar beli makanan utk makan kt rumah.

Ibu ayah mmg dah informed earlier about this short trip so La Private room stay mmg dah kemas siap2 kasi touch up sbb kdg lps kemas dia berhabuk smula. dgn ade anak kecik ni kami extra concern sikit. Zahir mmg x cerewet. dia mmg jenis sempoi janji ada bumbung buat tempat tido dah setel. haha kalau nak ikot tekak dia malam tu, nak aje dia tido kat veranda tepi bilik tu. we did once during our diploma camping in Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu, slept under open hall, listened to owls howling on the trees. woo~~ with Zahir I had so many experiences. (spoiled brat) hahha but here in kampung, I suggest u not to because the nyamuk is very thirsty. insects repellent are advised to bring along. hehe that nite was rained sprinkle the area n we feel the blessings. I made some hot tea n we have a little chat (Zahir can talk during his asleep).

Pagi Ahad tu mcm yg d rancang, kami bangun awal utk sarapan. Kite bwk Zahir ke Capati Corner yg boleh kata agak famous la kt kg tu sbb kedudukan dia yg strategic dekat simpang tiga besar tau. klau jalan drpd rumah tu nak ke tmpt Capati Corner, jalan terus hala ke Kampar n terus ke Gopeng, Ipoh dll n kat simpang tu jgk. klau ke kanan hala ke Lata Kinjang, one of the famous waterfalls in Perak n Malaysia. Technically, kedudukan La Private room stay memang terletak d tgh2 kawasan yg jarak utk ke mana2 tempat dlm Perak tu kira boleh pegi laa.. hehe Lps sarapan capati, kami blk utk ke pasar pagi, Morning Market kat tapak pasar malam hari Sabtu, utk beli bahan utk masak tgh hari. Pasar Pagi sini to me personally are very harmony. Kg kami tu terletak mcm daerah bawah kaki2 bukit/gunung tp dlm jarak jauh cuma bila berangin mmg sejuk..feel je.. Pasar tu mcm2 ada..pilih aje ape nak, boleh nego lg klau kene gaya. bessssst...

Lps sarapan pagi, lepas pasar, moment yg paling Zahir nnt kan sudah tibe! MEMANCING/FISHING.
pukul 1030 kami gerak drpd umah, di temani anak2 muda kampung 2 org nama Ijoi n Fitri, 2 org ni mmg kira org kuat rumah kami jgk laa..(mudah2an Allah sihat dan pelihara keselamatan diorang, amin..) mana tidak, ke mana mana aje berdua. mana ceruk yg x pegi. sape yg x kenal. hehe. budak2 kan, masa muda ni la nk kenal kampung sndiri. diorang ni la yg bawak kami ke tmpt memancing yg ayah kite biasa pegi. tp yelah, wrong timing agak nye, dah panas2 mana ada ikan nak makan sgt kan.. tp x salah pun cuba.. tmpt pertama kami cuba ialah lombong ikan haruan, baung. tp d sbb kan tgh ade org buat aktiviti korek pasir, mesin sedut air yg berdekatan agak bising jd suasana sikit terganggu tp kami xde masalah dgn bunyik tu. Ijoi n Fitri assist us at full. Zahir with his talkative n humors made those boys happy. at first Zahir show the way how to fish Haruan/Snakehead fish at that kind of place. He 'casting' the spot with his skills n I learn thru observation. Umpan kami bawak katak hidup dgn dedak bancuh. so I tried with katak, n buat mcm mana Zahir buat.. fishing needs thick patience. lps skill yg x seberapa tu, PUP! tali d sentak! YAY! dpt 1!! ikan haruan! tapi ikan haruan kurus sbb kapala dia besar skit drpd badan. hihi lubuk yg kami pegi tu mmg tmpt ikan2 haruan, keli, seluang, patin main la.. klau kene timing dia, mmg boleh dpt ikan2 tu smua. Zahir n budak2 tu seronok laa sbb berbaloi la jgk tggu.. masing2 punya pancing blm sangkot lg.. hahaha

Lepas 2 jam, almost 1PM, kami pun blk sbb dah nak Zohor. mknn lauk kampung(ikan keli masak sambal, gulai ikan baung, sambal belacan, ayam masak merah) dah terhidang.. apa lagi, bedal la lauk tengah hari! hehehe aktiviti kg mcm tu laa..pagi lps kemas2 laman, dlm mana yg patut, dah masuk lunch..lps lunch kang lps Zohor tido sekejap ke ape ke.. tp since depan umah kami ade warung yg Ayah buatkan utk kami meniaga ABC, air minuman panas-sejuk, pisang goreng, cekodok, kuih2, boleh jadi best la.. whoever staying at La Private room stay can have a chance to be a real kampung person by experiencing all these mentioned activities.. just take ur time n be with us.. we are far more real than what's shown on magazines/tv that promote our very precious culture. like seriously. ^__^

after lunch, the day was very beautiful..sunny n windy.. drive us to Batu Berangkai waterfalls because Lata Kinjang is too mainstream for the weekend. Batu Berangkai located 20 minutes from La Private room stay in Kampar. Same like any waterfalls during the hot weekend, it filled with people. We took a chance to cherish the moment as Zahir's son, Yusoff love to swim(he is 9 months old) ;) n Zahir took him inside. Ijoi n Nabil, another kid from kampung join us. cool waterfalls. even Zahir was amazed by the tap water in our kampung because most of the time cold in temperature. (advantage) during hot summer days. ;)

after waterfalls, we head back to mines, different than the first spot but my brother favorite spot for rohu, patin, n krai/kelarai. around 430PM, we made it there. the fish are happily jumping here n there as it is their feeding hour. Zahir n his small fishing rod made the first bite as a krai/klarai fish  hit the bait. this time, they use dedak mix with pandan flavor(hand made bait-flour based). after 15 minutes I fell asleep n those kids fishing like tomorrow never come. hahaha. as I woke up, the fish cage the brought almost full! patin n krai most catched. Hope Zahir is happy as he always wanted to fish in my kampong! with his style! ;)

that nite after simple dinner at nearby mamak, we sat down n watch tv for a while to kill the time being in kampong. later on, before 12AM, we went to Chenderiang, (not yet in the small town of Chenderiang but just after Capati Corner jucntion to Lata Kinjang), watching Ayah n Che Mat, Ayah's friends, fishing for baung and keli-catfish. in the dark pitch, with just a hand size torch light, Ayah n his friend love to kill their time fishing. the passion never ends as I believe fishing made u think n observe how wonderful life could offer u as a person alive. Fishing may also give u some inspiration in life. depends on how u portray or view the journey thru the creative n positive perspectives. all praises to Allah. around 3AM, we head back to the city where we earn n learn more about the line n curves plotted above as a traveling book.
